Conduct and Discipline of Students

COM has established certain rules and regulations under the premise that an educational institution has the responsibility to regulate student behavior and conduct that tends to impede, obstruct or threaten the legal rights of others on campus, or the achievement of the mission and vision of the College. To create a positive climate for learning, students are expected to be familiar with and abide by all rules and regulations. These rules and regulations are available in the online Student Handbook. Students who believe their rights have been violated because of the investigative or disciplinary actions may file an appeal according to the student discipline process outlined in the Student Complaints section of the Student Handbook. Complaint forms can also be found on the Dean of Students website https://www.com.edu/dean-of-students.
