Financial Aid Debts

When a student owes a debt to the Department of Education, the eligibility to receive federal financial aid at any school may be on hold until the debt is repaid or acceptable repayment arrangements are made with the Department of Education. Additionally, a hold may be placed on the student’s record for transcripts and registration until the debt is paid or satisfactory payment arrangements are made by the student.
