Financial Aid

Money Awareness Program

College of the Mainland (COM) is dedicated to the belief that the educational opportunities of students should not be limited by their (lack of) financial resources. Students who need assistance in meeting college expenses may apply for financial aid.

The Money Awareness Program (MAP) is here to help you learn how to manage your money. We understand that students face financial obstacles. We share ways to help you pay for your tuition and improve your finances. The topics we cover are applying for financial aid, searching for scholarships, saving money, managing credit, and more.  This program is funded by the US Department of Education Title V Hispanic Serving Institution Grant

Students who feel they may need assistance with financial management are encouraged to visit the Financial Aid Office located on the second floor of the Student Center.
